Sustainable December

Sustainable December

Yay, December! The month of unlimited parties, food, drinks, sequin outfits, and, of course, gifts!

Last week, we talked about how un-sustainable all those sequin party outfits are. They’re mostly made out of plastic, only worn once, and replaced the next year. A better option would be renting.

Another unsustainable part of the December month are the gifts. And I’m not just talking about the gift wrapping (plastic, single use, lots of trash), but also about the gifts themselves.

Not gifting is of course not an option. Because who doesn’t like presents?! If you want to diminish your ecological footprint,...

With December around the corner, I can finally give in to my love for glitter and sequins. No look to shiny for the holidays! I incorporate them into my daily outfits to spice them up a little or go all out when it’s party time!

If you’re still looking for inspiration for a look that will steal the show this holiday, look no further. I collected the best outfits for you to choose from! Let me know which one is your favorite!

One of my favorites is the shearling coat, or the teddy biker jacket. Very cozy, very comfy, very warm, and very stylish! This coat gives an edgy finishing touch to pretty much any outfit and needs to hang on your coat rack...

It’s raining men, I mean, a lot

Hey everyone! I’m back from the dead! It’s hard to believe that only a week ago I was on a sunny Caribbean beach, and now I’m trying to stay dry in rainy Amsterdam. It always surprises me how the Dutch stay loyal to their beloved bikes, even when it’s pouring like it has been the last couple of weeks. What surprises me even more, is how some of them manage to look fashionable!

If you’re looking to upgrade your rain wardrobe, keep reading. I’ve selected a few of my favorite rain items for you!

Let’s start with coats:
